February 23 (Monday): Early arrivals and initial check-ins for some prospects (e.g., kickers, defensive linemen, linebackers). This is more behind-the-scenes setup, with limited public events.
February 24 (Tuesday): Media availabilities with select NFL general managers and head coaches. More prospect arrivals, medical evaluations, team interviews, and meetings begin in earnest.
February 25 (Wednesday): Continued media sessions (including some GMs/HCs), ortho exams, media interviews, NFLPA meetings, team interviews, and kicking workouts (PK). Position-specific activities for defensive line, linebackers, and placekickers.
The on-field workouts (the most watched part, broadcast on NFL Network) start later:
Thursday, February 26: Kickers (PK), defensive linemen (DL), linebackers (LB). Drills start at 3:00 PM ET. Gates open around 1:00 PM.
Friday, February 27: Tight ends (TE), defensive backs (DB). Drills start at 3:00 PM ET.
Saturday, February 28: Quarterbacks (QB), wide receivers (WR), running backs (RB). Drills start at 1:00 PM ET (earlier start time).
Sunday, March 1: Offensive linemen (OL). Drills start at 1:00 PM ET (concluding the main workouts).
Monday, March 2: Wrap-up activities, departures, and any final evaluations (less public focus).
Coverage is available on NFL Network, with live streaming on NFL+, and NFL.com has a tracker for results, participants, and highlights. The schedule is structured so each prospect group gets a multi-day cycle of medicals, interviews, bench press (often earlier in their group), and then on-field testing.
Will any reporter actually ask Schoen about changes to his responsibilities in his role? Same question should go to Harbaugh to describe how the team structure works now with all these new positions including ones that report to him.
We may learn some of this reading between the lines of what they actually say as well.
Expect a lot of "We have a great structure in place. We all respect one another. We all work collaboratively on big decisions."
It would be silly to say anything else.
This. I couldn't care less.
Nailed it
+1. Its done with, it won't change from here, and it is what it is. I don't get the fascination

People want Schoen to fall on his sword and say “yep I suck at the position I was hired to do.”
Yup. Stuff that really matters. They're working together now to better the team. It's a collaborative effort. Some mongos here just won't accept that.
Agreed.
You would think anyone in the player evaluation process would be in Indy college or pro.
i doubt anyone ever wonders how a sausage was made hence the name hotdog, they don't even care if its actually dog...

There was that time way back in 1908 when The Jungle was written.
There are times as a beat reporter where you have to ask obvious, "dumb" questions because you need a quote. Press savvy interviewees understand that and are patient with it.
On the other hand, there are also times you are pretty sure the interviewee can't or won't answer a certain question — or, can't or won't give you an honest answer.
Sometimes I would ask the question anyway and they'd decline to answer and I'd say "Well, I had to ask." But sometimes you just know it's a waste of everyone's time and you don't ask that question, but you try to figure out an adjacent question you might get an answer to.
At an event once I got a few seconds with Christopher Nolan. It was after "The Dark Knight" while he was making "The Dark Knight Rises." For my last question I asked him "What's the new Batmobile going to be?" His eyes went wide and he said "I'm not going to tell you that!" I said "Sorry, had to ask."

Sources: Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson won't be doing any on-field workouts or testing at the NFL Combine.
He continues to work his way back from his in-season hamstring injury

I really like their commitment to compete despite being top prospects.
This is the type of player we need at #5 to help set the standard going forward (regardless of position).
I would expect Caleb Downs to participate as well, we will see

Joe Schoen (10 am) and John Harbaugh (1 pm) scheduled to speak to reporters at the combine today. Harbaugh speaking is another welcomed change, as Brian Daboll didn't speak at the last few combines.
Will be good to start to dive into the state of the roster with Harbaugh since the introductory press conference and his media tour in the past week or so has mostly been focused on big-picture topics.
It doesn't have to be Love - anyone would do just fine.
I think there's a bunch of guys that are clumped together in round one around where the Giants pick. A big combine from some of these guys will help the NYG move that top 5 pick for extras.

I hope he is the guy if Reese is off the board. We need a talent infusion at the ILB position. Massive need and value meet.
