Assuming Linderbaum becomes a Giant, to move JMS to either guard position? Still on rookie contract, and now has three years of experience. If JH is inclined to build through the draft great, would a line of Thomas, Runyan, Linderbaum, JMS, Mbow be that bad until that happens? If Runyan goes and JMS slides in there, you should probably pair Mbow with a veteran to relieve some pressure on him. That would come from Runyan cap savings. At 4.3 million, it seems an economical move to keep him here, at least for 2026!
This
Is typing "IF Linderbaum becomes a Giant, JMS to guard?"
That hard?
Can we please have an award for 'worst thread title of the week'? Or a nickname (in the 'Asshat' vein)? Been getting out of hand lately, and we can't even blame it on them being 03/05'ers!
The earlier discussion about Mbow to center is more interesting IMHO.

Not to mention he has never played any position but center - at any level.
"A Giant question ... film at 11!" or simply a player's name "Nabers" type thread titles are really lazy IMHO.
I most ignore the threads now.
Maybe Eric and Gary can implement an AI/LLC driven thread title scanner and auto delete any thread with an incomplete or insufficiently descriptive title!
:-)
It would be an unmitigated disaster, and forget running the ball at all.
JMS at OG is not playable.
Mbow cannot be seriously considered as a starting RT at this point.
Cut JMS, save the 4.3 million with almost zero dead cap for it
And sign someone with it that can actually give you an advantage at their position like oh say Ravens Pro Bowl Punter Jordan Stout who will get near 4 million
And then cut Jamie Gillan who also isnt very good and free up another 1.2 million of cap space.
Now you have improved 2 positions with really good players instead of manning them with bottom of the league players
Thats how this team will actually start to improve

The famous 03/05’ers! lol. Good times back then.

JMS is not a mauler he would need to be at guard, he lacks the body type, no.
Or
2) He continues his career at center on another team.
He is worth more as a center than as a projection to guard. Under option 2, maybe NYG can salvage a Day 3 pick or a swap of some kind.
Cap numbers and PFF grades. 😉
It is stupid.
My other pet peeve are acronyms that I'm allegedly supposed to know and don't. If you're calling Dane Belton "DB," you're fucking me up because he's not acronym worthy, plus we also have Dionte Banks, and they're both DBs... in both initials and football positions.
Please stop it. Just write the word Belton.
