Not to mention he has never played any position but center - at any level.

Pretty soon, every thread will start with simply "Giants". It's like these guys are just trying to get "clicks" with their cryptic or in complete thread titles.

"A Giant question ... film at 11!" or simply a player's name "Nabers" type thread titles are really lazy IMHO.


I most ignore the threads now.

Maybe Eric and Gary can implement an AI/LLC driven thread title scanner and auto delete any thread with an incomplete or insufficiently descriptive title!

JMS at OG is not playable.

Mbow cannot be seriously considered as a starting RT at this point.

Very soon that Harbaugh is going to revamp this offensive line to fit it his liking. Re-signing Eluemunor, who is not above average in the run game, and signing a guard is not fixing this line. it does not scream physical whatsoever. Physicality is line John Harbaugh will want and to benefit the run game Greg Roman will want to run.

JMS isnt good as a Center and its his only position

Cut JMS, save the 4.3 million with almost zero dead cap for it

And sign someone with it that can actually give you an advantage at their position like oh say Ravens Pro Bowl Punter Jordan Stout who will get near 4 million

And then cut Jamie Gillan who also isnt very good and free up another 1.2 million of cap space.

Now you have improved 2 positions with really good players instead of manning them with bottom of the league players

Thats how this team will actually start to improve

He is not worth $18 to $20 mill per. Sorry, he isn't.

Can we for once in 12 years get 5 decent lineman that play their position at NFL level ? Is that too much to expect?

JMS is not a mauler he would need to be at guard, he lacks the body type, no.

JMS doesn't seem like a great fit for our new offense, but at the same time, is this the wisest choice for our splash investment in FA? Linderbaum would have to be a foundational piece. He may or may not be, but hard to tell since the complete vision for this offense remains to be seen.
