After an ACL reconstruction you tend to lose some range of motion in the affected knee. The physical therapists have to stretch it back out so you can extend it fully.
They stretch it out by putting the leg up and pushing on the joint from front to back. It hurts like hell while they're pushing. It's something like one minute on, one minute off, I dunno, but it feels like forever while they're pushing on it. I've seen grown people almost brought to tears by it.
Or he might just be getting some kind of massage. That would be nicer.

It's not much, but working out without a brace at the 4 month mark is probably about as good an update as we’re going to get until practice starts.
